The 10 O'Clock Cookie Bakery Cafe (or 10CC for short) is a great little eatery right in Masterton's main centre. With beautiful sweet pastries, gourmet sandwiches, cabinet and menu options, Ten O'Clock Cookie is a Masterton cafe favourite for breakfast and lunch!
Well-known for their baking prowess 10CC offer scrummy baking at its best. If you're around at Easter you must pop in for a hot cross bun! If you're after a treat anytime of the year then look no further than their mouth-watering chocolate cakes - they look incredible and taste pretty darn good too!!

If you have been following the competition through Facebook or have competed in this pie competition in the past, you'll know that getting into the top 3 for any category is a feat in itself!
With well over a 5,000 entries into the competition yearly from bakeries & cafes all across New Zealand the results were announced at the official awards ceremony in Auckland on Tuesday night!

These lovely ladies entered into the -
Bakels Apprentice Pie Maker Competition 2019 & placed top 10 in NZ!
Chelsea came 9th with her -
Thai Curry Chicken Pie made with kaffir lime, bamboo shoots, mixed veggies, tender chicken pieces & sour cream in a Thai red curry sauce
Jenna came 7th with her -
Lamb & Smoked Beetroot pie made with carrot, celery, succulent lamb pieces & pinot noir in a smokey beetroot relish
Lastly, a massive congratulations to all of the bake house team involved in these competitions, all the hard yards, long hours & meticulous work has paid off!!
We'd like to share some very special news!
This year Ten O'clock Cooke entered into the BIANZ National Hot Cross Bun Competition, we are proud to annouce that our delicious fruit filled buns placed 3rd overall!
That means our Hot X Buns are the 3rd best in New Zealand!, we would like to thank our terrific bakers for their competitive streak & continuous hard work, well done!
Having currently held the title for Bakery of the year 2016 & 2017.

Finally a special congratulations to our first year baking apprentice Stephanie Morrison who competed in a separate category for Trainee of the Year + competed in a 2 day Live Bake-Off event at the Fine Foods Show in Auckland.
Stephanie placed Second overall in New Zealand for trainee of the year!
She is currently still in her first year of her apprenticeship + has competed in numerous competitions since staring at Ten O'clock Cookie & has always placed in the the top 3.
We look forward to the next few years with Stephanie to see her rise to her full potential!
